Description
This wood is characterised by the straight grain that creates the peculiar silvery figure found on the radially sawn surfaces. The texture is medium to coarse.
The colour of the heartwood varies from a light yellowish brown to a biscuit colour with light shades of pink, while the demarcated sapwood has a brownish white or a yellowish colour.
