Description
The American Walnut (or Black Walnut) is very similar to its European counterpart.
The grain is usually straight, but can present irregularities, while the texture is medium.
The heartwood can vary from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker streaks. The sapwood is usually pale-yellow grey to nearly white.
It is typically easy to work with this wood.
